CRCID is a Canadian Non-Profit Corporation and a Rotary International recognized Multi-District Activity. The organization consists of the Members;
Board of Directors; and,Secretariat. The CRCID Governance Chart shows the organizational structure of CRCID.

The current District Governor appoints the member, but it is recommended that the member serve 3 years for continuity and expertise. The member is the primary contact for CRCID with the Canadian clubs in your District and can assist with:
- Project Planning
- Funding Applications
- Clarifying CRCID, TRF and Government Policies
- Completing Reports
- Follow-up initiatives
The member is also available as a club speaker upon request and as a facilitator for both club and District seminars and workshops.

The CRCID Secretariat is responsible for coordinating the paperwork for CRCID programs and projects, including reporting to the members, the board, and to the Canadian Government, through the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). The CRCID staff is available as required if the District CRCID member is unavailable for assistance.
